The 17th "79BIKE Cup" Yunnan Dongchuan Mudslide Motorcycle Motocross Race in 2025

The event was held in the magnificent Dongchuan Mudslide National Geopark. As one of the top events in China's motorcycle cross-country world, along with "North Ring Tower and South Dongchuan", this competition has once again attracted national attention and become the peak showdown that cross-country fans look forward to every year.

This event is unprecedented in scale, attracting 80 top teams and 270 elite drivers from Chongqing, Guizhou, Gansu and other places. The contestants will compete fiercely for 5 days on the natural cross-country track formed by geological wonders, and speed and passion will burn freely on the red soil.

Comprehensively upgrade the competition system

For the first time, the electric off-road motorcycle category was established, which was divided into light group and medium and large group according to the model, marking the official entry of the event into the new energy off-road era.

The eight competition units fully cover models of different levels and styles, namely: domestic group, imported group, women's group, veteran group, ADV group, UTV group, light electric group, medium and large electric group.

The "Slope King Challenge" was specially launched, setting up a difficult climbing route to challenge the driver's control limit and psychological limit, which can be called a "touchstone of technology and courage."

Natural obstacles embedded in the design, five major stages full-course test

The route design of this Dongchuan race cleverly combines the natural obstacle elements of the debris flow gully landform, setting up multiple difficult technical levels to fully test the driver's car control skills and endurance will. The track covers complex terrain such as gravel beaches, wading areas, steep slopes, sharp bends and gullies, which is extremely challenging.

The five SS rally stages are carefully laid out:

SS1: Dabainigou Racing Circuit (circular venue, strong viewing, rally sprint warm-up)

SS2: Awang - Sanjiangkou - Kuahe - Level 1 Power Station (mainly mountain gullies and climbing sections, with large terrain fluctuations)

SS3: Level 1 Power Station - Kuahe - Sanjiangkou - Dongchuan Dazi (a combination of gravel areas and fast sections to test the limits of vehicles)

SS4: Sanjiangkou - Jintan Hot Spring - Xiaoqing River (crossing wading areas, shallow gullies, comprehensive control routes)

SS5: Xiaoqing River - Jintan Hot Spring - Sanjiangkou (ultimate decisive battle section, mixed terrain, huge physical consumption)

Each group designs its own stage route according to the model and difficulty. The final result is determined by the total time of each section. The shortest time is the champion of the group.

After five days of high-intensity competition, the 2025 China Dongchuan Mudslide Motorcycle Cross-Country Race came to a successful conclusion. Masters emerged in various categories, and the final champions went to the following drivers:
