From September 14 to 15, the 2024 World Motocross Championship (hereinafter referred to as MXGP) China Station kicked off at the Shanghai International Off-Road Circuit. More than 70 domestic and foreign drivers from 33 teams from 22 countries took turns to compete on the only motorcycle cross-country track in China that meets the FIM standards. They competed in three categories: MXGP (450CC), and Youth Group (85CC) to sprint for the annual world championship.At the opening ceremony on the morning of the 15th, Shanghai Vice Mayor Jie Dong announced the start of the event. On the 2,000-meter-long track, 16 ramps are cleverly laid out, with the highest point reaching 4.5 meters and the widest span reaching 60 meters, which puts extremely high demands on the drivers' skills and courage. With superb control skills and extraordinary courage, they drive their motorcycles into the air on the muddy track, draw beautiful arcs, and after landing steadily, they quickly accelerate and continue to sprint forward, showing amazing driving skills. The "post-00" Spanish teenager Jorge Prado, who won the world championship three times, won the MXGP China Station championship.
